What is The Footloose Muse and why should I subscribe?

For over a year, I used this platform as a creative midwife, helping people give birth to their creative ideas, visions, and dreams. My weekly columns teased, challenged, cajoled, and inspired you to take your creative life seriously, and to reach for the meaning and purpose that only a creative life can provide.

In October last year, I paused that pursuit. Many of you wrote to tell me wonderful stories about creative dreams coming to fruition. I was humbled and intuitively knew that my creative midwifery work here was complete. Alongside that revelation, I recognized that it was time for me to allow my own muse to have her way with me, and to redirect my energies to better serve this beloved community.

The best way to join this community is to become a paid subscriber with a monthly subscription of $7, or if you prefer, a one-time $70 subscription, good for the year. You might even consider becoming a Mighty Muse with a custom amount of your choice. In return, I promise to deliver regular insights and observations from the road. Some of you, for reasons of your own, will choose to live vicariously through me, but it is my hope you will use my musings to chart your own course.

Stay up-to-date:

I intend to once again cross our great United States as well as venture into the Canadian maritimes and Northwest Territories. From those places, near and far, I will bring you insights and observations to inspire you to chart your own course.

Join the community of Footloose Muses:

Travel, whether by car, air, or rail, connects us, breaks down barriers, and contributes to a better understanding of cultures, communities, and our fellow humans. I hope my wanderlust encourages and inspires you to follow your own path.
