If I was to sum our time together, especially our travels. This has and is the best experience of my life.you and I have traveled many thousands of miles together. And for me you want to get to know each other, well here it is. Count less days together traveling the open road. What once was a dream in now our life style. The best partner ever, Thank you Carol for finding the real me.
Carol I absolutely envy the turn your life took. Was it always meant to be? like so many other things along the ever-winding road?? I think probably so, even as you could never have imagined it was just around the next corner. Each of your days is a new adventure in just being. A new view of life happening moment by precious moment.

I am beyond happy for you. Are you still doing your B&B? I can’t imagine you leaving your camera behind, or some kind of creative outlet that travels. I wish so much love and success in your new path. I have been really trying to explore my crafts, knitting and fabric arts. No designs of my own yet but I am hopeful to find the courage to do so. Wow! What a wonderful update. I feel as if I am on the same road as you! You will remember me—I am the woman who began to learn to drive the car months before I met you. Now I have no fear. You taught me fear verses love. I am always saying that!!!
On the weekend we celebrated our Canadian
Thanksgiving. On the day, my eldest niece announced that she and her husband are expecting! They have been trying for years, and she gave me and my husband a personal sonogram of the baby sucking his/her thumb. I am overwhelmed because this means that my parents ancestors will continue. I have no children.
I have been going to the pool daily, and am now in the best shape of my life. Weekly I attend a dinner/music with seniors. Also, I have spend 18 months of the past two years doing therapy. It was such a wonderful experience because I worked my hardest, and made a strong connection in my healing journey with my therapist. My therapist taught me the tools of therapy, self love and boundaries. I was her favourite client!!!
I feel,so happy. On Sunday I will attend my mother in law’s 95 birthday party. In July I officially turned 65, so now am a senior. I have no aches or pains in this body of mine. I feel blessed.
Also, I feel blessed because my husband’s dementia is going slowly. At the beginning, he attended couples therapy with me. In one conversation to me, he admitted that he “had to learn to become a better husband.” Also, I am a better wife.
Last year, I even had a part time job working as a nanny for a prominent medical doctor.
It is so great hearing from you Carol. I,found you at the very beginning of my transformation into a butterfly. I also have found new friendships, and stopped the toxic ones. I pulled the weeds out of my garden.
My mother in law even commented to me that “I’m not the person that they thought I was”. I have matured so much, and enjoyed hearing from the Footloose muse and hearing the stories of women around my own age.
Congratulations to you. I,look forward to seeing a picture of you as a bride. You have been a part of my life, although it was short, it was meaningful when I needed it most. Thank you.

Things Down Under have taken a pleasant turn as well, I have sold my business and I’m planning more travel and a lot more art and pottery.
