Yes, Debbie I read of this and the destruction. I don’t recall ever hearing of your beautiful part of the world being so affected. Correct me if I’m wrong, but hurricanes do not usually touch Nova Scotia/Canada, do they?
We have had some category hurricanes make landfall in the past Carol...usually many years between them. Often by the time they get here they are a tropical storm. Fiona was just that, but she was very powerful. In most of our lifetimes here, we haven't seen this type of destruction. It was all quite surreal for us all! Still many without power...so grateful to have our power restored! xx
Oh, Debbie. It feels like we’re all under a heightened threat of intense weather. I actually installed a whole house generator at my seaside cottage in anticipation of the tropical storms and hurricanes you speak of. My best wishes to you and your neighbors for an expedited clean-up and recovery 💙🙏💙

The past days prevented me from checking my Substack inbox. This morning, while I was quickly scrolling through it, your post made me stop to read what I wanted to hear from another person out there. And happiness fills me when I read such words from a fellow Sagittarius.
Love it. I'm at an age where I've stopped trying to please others. I will always be kind and helpful but apart from that it's my life and I grant myself the freedom to live it my way.
