I came to a position as who I was before as a leader. My job in Health and Human Services as well as my office were eliminated by the current to government as non essential to the public. I started a position and was told I was too aggressors a leader and to dumb down and be less productive. I was pulled off the job because I was overqualified. I stood up for myself but the man who had been there 18 years won out. I feel like our society is going backwards instead of forwards like before. I guess being true to myself and values cost me an assignment .
I’ve learned that sometimes the universe does for us what we can’t do for ourselves. Blessing in disguise. At the end of the day, integrity is all that matters. And I couldn’t agree with you more. Our entire world is upside down right now.
